Scope of this disclaimer

This disclaimer applies to sinoaihub.com and data.sinoaihub.com (together, "the site"), operated by the China AI Hub project. It explains the nature of the content, the limits of its accuracy and timeliness, our use of AI in producing the site, and how to report an error. It should be read together with the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy.

By using the site you acknowledge and accept the limitations described here. If you need verified, current, vendor-specific information before making a consequential decision, use the linked official source — that is the only place where binding terms, prices and capabilities are authoritatively stated.

Nature of the information

China AI Hub is an independent, informational and research platform about China's AI ecosystem. It is not an official source: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any AI vendor, and it does not speak for DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud, ByteDance, Moonshot, MiniMax, Zhipu or any other company it describes. Information is compiled from public sources and presented for general reference; the authoritative source for any model, API or vendor is always that vendor's own documentation.

The site publishes both facts and analysis, and keeps them distinct. Facts carry sources and verification dates; analysis is labeled "China AI Hub analysis" and is the project's own interpretation, not a claim about what any vendor has stated. You should treat analysis as opinion grounded in cited evidence, not as established fact.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is professional advice of any kind, and you should not rely on it as such. In particular:

AI-generated content disclosure

The site discloses its use of AI-assisted tooling and labels the relevant content:

AI-generated output can be incomplete or wrong. Where it is used, it is reviewed against sources before publication; where a fact cannot be confirmed, the site marks it "Not publicly documented" rather than publishing a guess. The four claim labels used throughout the site — Official fact, Vendor-reported claim, Third-party evidence, and China AI Hub analysis — exist precisely so the reader can distinguish sourced fact from interpretation.

Accuracy and timeliness

Facts on this site are sourced and date-stamped with a last_verified date, but the Chinese AI market changes quickly. Pricing, capabilities, licenses, regions and availability may become outdated between verification cycles. We update records when we detect changes, but we do not guarantee that the site is accurate, complete or current at the moment you read it. Figures should be verified against the linked official source before reliance.

Where a value is unknown, the site says so — it marks the value "Not publicly documented" or "Unknown" rather than guessing. The absence of a value is a statement about what is publicly documented, not a statement about what a model can or cannot do. Data is re-verified on a cadence described in the Data Policy (weekly light checks, monthly full checks, and event-driven updates for major releases).

Specific disclaimers by content type

Third-party information

The site reproduces and summarizes vendor claims and third-party data (including vendor-reported benchmark scores), always attributed to the reporting source. We do not independently re-verify a claim unless it is labeled as independently verified. Vendor-reported benchmark scores reflect the vendor's own evaluation configuration and should not be compared directly against scores produced under different configurations. Links to third-party sites are provided for reference and do not imply endorsement; we are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any third-party site.

No warranties

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

The site is a free informational resource, not a paid service and not a provider of AI systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the China AI Hub project and its contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site — including reliance on model specifications, pricing, benchmarks, comparisons or analysis. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

No guarantee of availability

We do not warrant that the site will be available at all times or free of errors. The site is a static reference and may be modified, updated or temporarily unavailable without notice. The Data Hub (data.sinoaihub.com) is a companion property and may follow a separate update schedule.

Forward-looking and analytical statements

Some content discusses positioning, market structure and strategic implications (for example, a company's "structural role" in the ecosystem). These are the project's own analysis, labeled "China AI Hub analysis", and are not statements of fact, predictions, or guarantees of future performance. They should be read as interpretation grounded in the cited evidence, not as forecasts on which to base financial or business decisions.

Third-party trademarks and content

Model names, company names, product names, benchmark names and logos referenced on the site are the trademarks or property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. Their use does not imply affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners, and the site's independent analysis does not represent the views of any vendor. Any errors in summarizing third-party content are unintentional and will be corrected through the corrections policy when reported.

No client or advisory relationship

Accessing the site does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between you and the China AI Hub project. There is no paid advisory service, and no interaction with the site should be understood as the provision of bespoke advice.

Corrections

If you believe a fact, price, benchmark score or relationship on the site is wrong or outdated, report it through the corrections policy — by email to [email protected] or by opening an issue on the public project repository. Corrections are made through a recorded process; the current correction record is on the corrections page.

Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer as the site's content or practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Because we maintain no mailing list, please review this page when you have concerns about the limits of the content.

How this disclaimer relates to the rest of the site

This page states the limits of the content; the other disclosure pages state how the content is produced and maintained. The methodology explains how data is collected and verified, the editorial standards define the quality gate, the Data Policy covers licensing and update cadence, and the Funding Disclosure explains the site's independence. The Terms of Use are the binding rules governing use of the site; this disclaimer explains why you should not treat the content as advice or as a substitute for the vendor's own, current documentation.
